Product Description:

The 3NF-07 mains filter produced by Kollmorgen is intended to be connected according to the instructions given in the manual for the servo amplifier. This filter is also referred to as a lines filter because of its capability of lowering electromagnetic interference in the related electrical power lines. The product is designed exclusively for operation in three-phase power systems. This device helps in protecting the associated servo amplifier from damage because of electromagnetic interference and hence extending its lifespan. The unit is deployed in several industrial automation related systems and applications such as robotics, process control systems, and machine tools. It filters out unwanted disturbances and noise from power supplies.

This filter cannot be installed in a horizontal position. The product is not intended to be deployed for residential use. This device has a maximum rated voltage of 480 VAC. The unit features protection against the entry of solid objects with a diameter of more than 12 mm. It is meant to be used only along with the manufacturer’s AKD range of servo amplifiers.

This filter has a tightening torque of 0.7 Nm to 0.8 Nm for its terminals. The product must have sufficient clearance above and below it inside the control cabinet. This device is designed according to harmonized standards relating to voltage and creeping distances. The unit must be mounted and installed only after reading and understanding the related safety instructions. It must incorporate a double protective earth connection because of the high earth leakage current. This mains filter has a set of three studded terminals at the top and the bottom to support its connection to the associated servo amplifier.
