The 1NF-10 mains electromagnetic interference filter is manufactured by Kollmorgen for the Mains EMI Filters series. Designed for single-phase supply lines, the unit is wired ahead of drives, controllers, or measurement equipment to suppress conducted noise and limit emissions returning to the power grid. Differential-mode and common-mode inductors work with metallized capacitors to help automated systems meet industrial electromagnetic compatibility limits. The filter also prevents disturbances from the incoming supply from reaching sensitive electronic components in motion-control systems.
The filter is rated for a nominal line voltage of 230 VAC at industrial frequencies of 50/60 Hz. At its reference ambient temperature, it carries a continuous load of 10 A at 40 °C with a series DC resistance of 2 × 29.5 mΩ, keeping the voltage drop across the device low. Leakage current to protective earth is limited to 0.48 mA, permitting connection to equipment that uses sensitive ground-fault monitoring.
