The M4407-100200 is a 7 HP high-performance drive module from Kollmorgen. It is a microprocessor-based variable speed drive module. Additionally, it allows the control of individual parameters via a sophisticated keypad control, thereby eliminating all forms of manual adjustments. Its non-regenerative voltage supply is rated at 500 Volts DC. In general, the M4000 product series by Kollmorgen offers AC input line fusing, adjustable IR compensation, digital parameter control, selectable current limit, etc. It can be installed in a chassis or an enclosure, depending on the operating condition and requirements.
The M4407-100200 comes designed with a RS 485 port that facilitates its direct communication with Programmable Logic Controllers and host computers. It also boasts a self-tuning current loop that ensures better responses to a variety of speed ranges. Its relevant use cases include dynamometers applications, robotics, packaging, balancing machines, multi-pass draw machines, spoolers, etc. The M4407-100200 has a maximum load capacity of 150 % per 1 minute.
