The M-405-A-A1 is a motor that is manufactured by Kollmorgen. It is a member of the M series which is an upgrade from the B series. This GOLDLINE series motor provides the end-user with excellent performance and value. It is versatile and has the ability to complement several applications.

The M-405-A-A1 is made with neodymium iron boron magnets which are high energy materials that provide the best in thermal design. Thanks to this design the motor can provide the best continuous torque performance of its competitors. The magnets also ensure the motor can achieve high acceleration despite its compact size. It is built with protection against miss-wired connections and comes complete with a full metallic enclosure. The M-405-A-A1 features intelligent power modules that protect themselves. The unit is fully protected against over-voltage, under-voltage, short circuit, over-temperature, heat sink, motor over temperature, over-speed feedback loss, and over current. Set up is easy thanks to a digital setup tool which automatically walks users through the entire installation process. Once set up, the performance of the M-405-A-A1 motor can be measured in real-time. The unit will start without tripping your breakers and fuses thanks to its resistive soft-start technology. Four different power supply options can allow for the optimal configuration of both multi-axis and single-axis options.
