The M-205-B-23 is a servo motor under the GOLDLINE series manufactured by Kollmorgen Company. This servomotor is used for many factory applications thanks to the optimum performance and value it provides to end users. It is made of an unmatched thermal design and high energy rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnets providing unparalleled acceleration capabilities and continuous torque. Kollmorgen manufactured it to work with SERVOSTAR digital amplifiers to provide an easy to set up and high-performance motion control system on the factory floor. It has a maximum speed of 7500RPM making it ideal for high-speed high torque applications.

The M-205-B-23 comes with rugged resolver feedback and measures 2.76 to 7.48 inches. It comes in a brushless and lightweight design which is coupled with top-tier connectors for added performance. Being an extension of the B model, this type has seven times more inertia capabilities than the model A, making it perform better in systems that have large inertia mismatches and complaint loads. The M-205-B-23 is awash with state-of-the-art features as a rare shaft extension, class H insulation, IP-65 sealing, large torque to volume ratio, UL recognized and built-in thermostat. The thermostat prevents the internal temperature from exceeding a specific range, in which the insulation class enables the motor to withstand high temperatures.

The options available for the M-205-B-23 include NEMA mountings, encoder feedback, front-mounted gearheads, and fail-safe breaks, among others. The digital amplifier used with this servo motor requires MOTIONLINK for windows for easy installation and system setup.
