The KSM 122 is an expansion module from the well-known manufacturer Kollmorgen in its KSM series. The module has a wide range of inputs and outputs of both analog and digital types. The unit has 12 safe inputs that are dedicated to the connection of safety-related peripherals. The device is equipped with a TTL encoder interface on the front side that is mounted using terminal clamps and D-SUB terminals. It features an IP 52 protection rating. The unit has a SIL 3 rating according to EN 61508 specifications and 1.5sq. mm of maximum terminal cross-section. The module is available with a one-year warranty period.

The module is capable of drive monitoring two axes and ensuring their safe motion. The unit must be stored between a temperature range of 10° and 70° C.
