The Kollmorgen CF-SS-S3HGE-09 is a 9-meter sine-encoder feedback cable. It is intended for use with the S300 drive series from Kollmorgen. The cable comes with two connectors: a 15-pin D sub connector which interfaces with the S300 drive and a Euro IP 65 connector. The Kollmorgen S300 series is a user-friendly and versatile family of servo drives. It is designed for the control of linear positioners and rotary motors. The compact drive size and wide range of connectivity options make it a very cost-effective drive system. There are several benefits associated with the S300 drive family including reduced overall cost, user-friendly graphical user interface which minimizes support and engineering time, high performance, and wide power range. The S300 family is approved by CE and UL. S300 drives support direct connection to three-phase AC mains.

The S300 drive family can be used with a wide range of AC input options ranging from 115 to 480 Volts AC. The available output current range is 1.5 to 10 Amps. S300 drives are compatible with a broad range of feedback options including resolver (maximum 36 poles), ComCoder, sine encoder without data, sine encoder with BISS/HIPERFACE/EnDat, single cable feedback (SFD3 and Hiperface), and incremental encoder A quad B. The S300 drive include integrated communication interfaces including RS-232, CANopen and EtherCat. Several optional communication adapters can be ordered for S300 drives including Profibus, SynqNet, SERCOS II and DeviceNet. An integrated position controller can be used for the performance of several tasks including speed profile, register control, various reference traverses, jolt limiting, daisy-chained tasks and absolute and relative tasks.
