The VP-507BEAN-06 is a power cable manufactured by Kollmorgen within the Kollmorgen Servo Cables series. Designed to link an AKM servo motor to its matching AKD drive, the assembly delivers regulated power while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility in automated machinery. By matching the electrical and mechanical requirements of Kollmorgen motion platforms, this cable simplifies installation between the drive cabinet and moving axes and helps sustain continuous motion control in packaging lines, pick-and-place units, and other servo-based equipment.
The cable length is 6 m, providing enough span to route between control enclosures and the motor without strain. A minimum bend radius of 94 mm prevents conductor fatigue during dynamic motion along cable tracks. The insulation system supports up to 600 V, so the lead can carry full-rated phase voltage from the AKD amplifier. Continuous current capacity is 6 A, matching the demands of mid-frame AKM motors under rated torque. With an outside diameter of 9.4 mm, the power cable fits standard energy chains, and its copper conductors are dedicated solely to the motor’s phase supply rather than feedback functions.
