The M.1302.8633 is a servo feedback cable produced by Kollmorgen for the Kollmorgen Servo Cables series. It provides a dedicated connection between an AKM or DDR motor and its matching servo drive, transmitting position, temperature, and reference signals for closed-loop motion control. Accurate resolver feedback allows the drive to regulate axis position in automated assembly lines, packaging equipment, and gantry systems.
The assembly has a total length of 15 m, accommodating long machine chassis runs without intermediate junctions that could introduce impedance changes. A Hi-Flex jacket protects the finely stranded conductors as the cable moves through compact energy chains, reducing the risk of cracking or signal loss. At the control cabinet, a D-Sub 15-pin HD male connector mates directly with compatible Kollmorgen AKD and S300 feedback receptacles, eliminating the need for field crimping. The conductor arrangement supports resolver transducers, allowing the sine and cosine channels to reach the drive without conversion hardware. The cable is compatible with AKM and DDR motors, and the motor-side grommet fits the standard encoder housing while maintaining strain relief under dynamic loads.
