Product Description:
The Kollmorgen Servo Cables, model M.1302.8614, is specifically designed to enhance servo control systems to achieve the best results in different industries.
Each of these cables has four optically isolated 24VDC outputs which are active high to ensure that there is no electrical coupling and signal interference. It is constructed to work in the current sourcing mode, which pushes current into the load and is suitable for driving positive-logic input devices. The servo cable has safety mechanisms for protection against short circuits and overload to ensure that the system cannot be damaged in case of faults. Each output can source a maximum current of 50mA and each input/output can work in a voltage range of 24VDC with a tolerance of +15% – 10%. The switching on and off times are the best in the market and cannot exceed 50µs for resistive loads which makes the system very active. The leakage current is very low, and it is 0.5mA at maximum in the off state, which makes the circuit very efficient and minimizes power wastage. The command input can be configured for analog velocity or torque changes from 0V to 10V and has a 14-bit effective resolution to enable accurate velocity and torque control.
The M.1302.8614 has a high-speed data interface through the MMC-SD digital link in/out ports for quick and safe data transfer. The cable is shielded, straight, pinned, CAT5 or better, which reduces the emissions and is immune to interference from other electric devices. Available in A quad B differential output encoder emulation output is provided thus boosting the usability of the drive I/O connector that supports high-resolution encoder emulation outputs making these cables a crucial requirement for high-performance automation tasks. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
