The cable is manufactured as a complete assembly to simplify installation and maintain the controlled impedance required for high-speed differential signaling.
The assembly is cut to a fixed length of 1.0 m, making it suitable for short jumper runs inside electrical cabinets where excess slack is undesirable. It uses CAT5e patch cord construction, so it supports 100 MHz bandwidth and Gigabit throughput for real-time communication between compatible drive controllers. Inside the jacket, 8 conductors are arranged as four balanced pairs; this arrangement matches standard Ethernet topologies and preserves signal symmetry. Each end is fitted with an 8-pin RJ-45 plug, enabling direct connection to drive or PLC network ports without field crimping.
