Designed for AKM servo motors, the assembly carries encoder information and auxiliary power between the motor housing and its matching drive. In closed-loop automation, this connection conveys incremental position data so the drive can align stator currents with the rotor angle and maintain commanded torque. The model integrates signal conductors and supply cores in a single jacket, simplifying cabinet wiring and reducing the number of separate cable runs required between connected components.
The cable has a static installation rating, meaning its jacket is intended for fixed installations rather than the continuous flexing found in drag chains. A total length of 9 m allows the cable to span typical distances from floor-mounted drives to motors on indexing tables or gantry axes. Inside the sheath, eight 28 AWG pairs and one 16 AWG pair separate the low-level encoder channels from the heavier supply conductors. The larger pair reduces voltage drop on the sensor power circuits over the full cable length.
