By bundling matched conductors, shielding, and factory-crimped connectors, this part simplifies installation and protects low-level feedback signals from electromagnetic noise in drive cabinets and on moving axes. Its design follows Kollmorgen pinouts, eliminating the need for on-site terminations and crimp tools.
The cable is supplied in a fixed length of 20 m, allowing controllers to be positioned several machine bays away from the motor without intermediate junctions. Inside the PUR jacket, the bundle has a 7x(2x0.25) configuration with seven twisted-pair sets for differential encoder channels and reference lines. Each conductor has a cross-sectional area of 0.25 mm², providing low resistance while keeping the overall cable diameter modest. The cable has an outer diameter of 9.9 mm, so standard drag-chain clamps can secure the assembly.
