Product Description:
The DE-91807 is a servo cable made by Kollmorgen. This type of servo cable is an encoder cable - these transmits signals among encoders and servo drives in industrial automation applications, allowing them to communicate and sync effectively. The DE-91807 servo cable comes with a length of 20 meters that is sufficient to transmit signals effectively. It is designed with shielded material that helps prevent the electrical noise interference. While it also includes an external sheath or a jacket for protection. To better tackle Electromagnetic interference, it has seven pairs of twisted wires. The conductor size of each of these pairs is 0.25 millimeters squared. The design of this servo encoder cable is specifically for handling the voltage maximum up to 300 volts.
For a reliable operation over a long time the cable must be used in the environment with the temperature not more than 105°C. It has the maximum bend radius of 67 mm, that represents the maximum radius of the curve to which it can be bent safely. The jacket material of the cable is made of thermoplastic elastomer. This material is flexible, resistant to wear and highly tolerant to higher temperatures. The DE-91807 servo cable has an outer diameter of 9.65 mm also with a tolerance of ± 0.35mm. It doesn't come with a specified rating for the dynamic bending or flexing. This makes the cable unsafe for the operation that requires constantly moving and also for tasks that need flexing. These cables have an Awn style of UL20327 that shows its compliance with the underwriters' laboratories standards. These standards are established for safety, insulation and electrical ratings.
Frequently Asked Questions about DE-91807:
Q: Why is the DE-91807 cable shielded and sheathed?
A: The shielded and sheathed design of the DE-91807 prevents electrical noise interference. This ensures stable signal transmission in industrial environments.
Q: How do twisted wire pairs improve the DE-91807’s performance?
A: The seven twisted pairs in the DE-91807 minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI). This enhances data signal integrity and ensures accurate communication.
Q: What benefits does the TPE jacket provide for DE-91807?
A: The TPE jacket offers high flexibility, wear resistance, and thermal tolerance. This makes the cable ideal for demanding industrial conditions.
Q: What does the 67mm bend radius indicate for DE-91807?
A: The 67mm bend radius indicates the smallest curve the DE-91807 cable can be bent without damage. Staying within this limit ensures optimal performance.
Q: What does the UL20327 compliance mean for DE-91807?
A: UL20327 certification ensures that the DE-91807 meets strict safety and insulation standards. It also confirms compliance with electrical performance requirements.
