The CP-SS-R1HE-03 is a power-only servo cable produced by Kollmorgen within the Kollmorgen Servo Cables series. It links an X9 drive terminal to a matching motor power port so that three-phase energy reaches the axis without signal conductors. Its Euro IP65 molded coupling seals the motor-side connection against dust and water spray, while the open drive end is intended for cabinet installation in a protected interior. This arrangement is useful where motor power and encoder feedback are intentionally kept on separate paths. It also keeps the drive-end termination simple inside the control cabinet.

The cable is supplied in a total length of 3.0 m, giving enough reach for many cabinet-to-motor runs without excess slack that can complicate routing. At the drive side, the screw-terminal connector is rated for 12 A continuous current and up to 630 V line-to-line, matching the power section of compatible drives. Six conductors terminate under clamp screws, and the housing maintains clear spacing through a 6-pin layout on a 5.08 mm pitch. Because the cable carries power only, the absence of shielded pairs or encoder cores helps reduce cable diameter and installation weight. The Euro IP65 shell on the motor side locks with a quarter-turn motion, and internal coding helps prevent incorrect phase connection.

The open end of the assembly is pre-stripped to 7 mm so cabinet wiring can be landed quickly, and the conductor set handles a plant supply of 115/230 Vac without exceeding insulation limits. For dielectric strength checks, the assembly withstands a test potential of 6 kV applied between cores and ground. When the cabinet door is closed, the drive terminal is protected to IP20. The copper conductors are sized as AWG 14 (2.5 mm²), balancing current capacity with flexibility for tighter bends inside the enclosure. That conductor size is common for servo power leads that must remain flexible during installation while still carrying motor current reliably.
