In motion-control cabinets, this cable links an AKM servo motor to its matching drive, delivering three-phase power and auxiliary brake conductors to keep the axis responsive and safe during stops. By routing both power and brake lines in a single jacket, it reduces wiring runs and maintains a tidy installation inside industrial automation equipment. The combined layout also helps keep cable routing compact where moving axes pass through trays, carriers, or confined cabinet spaces.

At the core of the design is its cable function, identified as a power cable with brake leads, meaning the bundle carries motor phase conductors along with two smaller cores dedicated to the electromagnetic holding brake. The overall reach is 15.0 m, allowing the drive and motor to be mounted with useful separation while preserving consistent electrical delivery along the run.
