Product Description:
The CM11A1-010-006-00 cable is produced by Kollmorgen for use in servo-driven automation equipment. It is a dedicated motor power lead intended to connect AKM servo motors to compatible drives in conveyors, pick-and-place systems, and other positioning applications. By combining phase conductors, protective earth, and auxiliary cores in a single jacket, the assembly transfers the high-frequency, pulse-width-modulated output from a servo amplifier to the motor terminals while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility with nearby control wiring. Its assembled connectors also support consistent drivetrain installation without requiring separate power and auxiliary cable runs.
The cable is classified as a motor cable, and its insulation and braided shield handle the steep voltage edges generated by PWM inverters. A fixed length of 6 m provides a consistent cable run between the motor and drive. Each phase core uses 1.0 mm² copper conductors suitable for the continuous current requirements of smaller AKM motors. At the cabinet side, an X2 circular plug mates with S300 or S700 drives and provides keyed polarity to prevent incorrect connection. The motor end uses an AKM&C/CH Connector 1.0, which connects directly to compatible C and CH motor frames without onsite crimping. The braided shield helps contain inverter-generated electrical noise that could otherwise interfere with adjacent feedback or control circuits.
An integrated pair for a motor holding brake allows the drive to control shaft locking through the same harness, reducing separate brake wiring on vertical axes. In a centralized layout, where all amplifiers are installed in one cabinet, the cable keeps motor power and brake connections together along the machine route. As part of the Kollmorgen Servo Cables series, the cable uses consistent jacket materials, color coding, and bend-radius conventions across available lengths. The predefined motor and drive connectors preserve shielding continuity throughout the cable assembly. Keyed connector interfaces also reduce the risk of incorrect orientation when the cable is attached to the motor or drive. The combined conductor arrangement helps keep power, protective earth, and brake wiring organized within cable trays and machine routing channels.
