Product Description:

The CFH0A1-002-003-00 is a servo feedback cable produced by Kollmorgen for the Kollmorgen Servo Cables series. It links a compatible AKM motor to an AKD servo drive, carrying encoder and temperature signals that the drive uses to regulate motion. Within automated cells, this interconnect helps close the position loop, allowing the controller to maintain repeatable movements and tight velocity regulation on compact axes where long cable sets are not required. The factory-terminated design also removes the need to assemble individual signal contacts during installation.

This model is supplied in a factory-terminated length of 3 m, so it can be routed between the motor junction box and cabinet without excess slack. The conductors use a seven-pair arrangement with two 0.25 mm² conductors per pair, allowing the balanced signal paths to share one jacket while reducing crosstalk. The drive end is fitted with the AKD X10 High-Density connector system, eliminating field crimping and supporting full engagement of the encoder contacts. Internally, the conductors are organized as twisted pairs, which maintains equal exposure to external fields and minimizes induced differential voltage. Differential signals use the HIPERFACE protocol, enabling the cable to transmit absolute position feedback and motor data without separate wiring.

The copper cores provide low loop resistance while preserving the flexibility needed for machine movement and routed cable paths. A braid and foil form a shielded and sheathed construction that blocks electromagnetic interference and protects the internal insulation from coolant splashes. The motor side terminates in an AKM&C/CH Connector 1.0 with a 17-pin signal interface for the required feedback connections. The drain braid bonds to the connector housing, creating a continuous shield path between the motor and drive ends. An integrated thermal contact transmits winding temperature data to the drive for overload monitoring. The terminated connectors maintain the intended signal allocation without requiring changes to the internal conductor arrangement.
