Product Description:
The CF-SS-RHGE-03 is a resolver feedback cable. It is designed for use with S300 drives from Kollmorgen. The cable has a length of 3 meters. It has a 9-pin sub-D connector on one end which connects to the S300 drive. The other end of the cable has a Euro IP65 connector. The S300 is a digital brushless servo drive which is available in a compact form factor which enables space savings. The S300 drives are compatible with Kollmorgen rotary servo motors and linear positioners. S300 series drives are approved by cUL, UL and CE. The drives can be directly connected to ground AC mains at 115 to 480 Volts AC. Line frequencies which are supported by the drive’s ranges from 50 to 60 Hertz. Integrated features available on the S300 drives include AC line filter and shielded connection that terminate on the amplifier.
The DC-link circuits on the drives can be connected in parallel. Kollmorgen S300 drives can be programmed via an integrated RS-232 serial communication interface. The drives also support EtherCAT and CANopen communication interfaces. Optional communication adapters that can be ordered from Kollmorgen for S300 drives include Profibus, DeviceNet, SERCOS II and Profinet RT. An integrated positon controller on the drives provides intelligent positioning applications such as jolt limiting, absolute and relative tasks, speed profile, register control and reference traverses. Feedback options supported by S300 drives include ComCoder, incremental encoder, resolver with maximum 36 poles, single cable feedback, incremental or sine encoder and since encoder with HIPERFACE/BISS/EnDat. Soft-PLC and motion control are available as standard options on the S300 drives. Handling and installation of S300 drives and accessories such as the CF-SS-RHGE-03 cable should be performed by trained personnel.
