Product Description:
The CF-SS-CHGE-06 is a feedback cable. It is manufactured by Kollmorgen for use with the S300 series of industrial drives. The cable measures 6 meters in length. The CF-SS-CHGE-06 is a commutating encoder feedback cable. The cable has a Euro IP 65 connector at one end and a 15-pin sub-D connector at the other end. The 15-pin connector is used for attachment to the S300 drive. Personnel involved in installation and commission of the drives should read and understand the product documentation. Improper handling of the S300 drives can lead to equipment damage and injury to personnel. Only qualified personnel should be permitted transport, handle, setup and operate the S300 drives and accessories. The technical data and connection specifications should be adhered to. If the allowed voltage or current values are exceeded, then the drive can be damaged.
The Kollmorgen S300 drives contain components that are ESD sensitive. Therefore, standard ESD precautions should be implemented during drive installation and maintenance. Safety features that are available on the S300 drives include soft-start, overvoltage detection, short-circuit protection and phase-failure monitoring. The drives also support temperature monitoring of the servo amplifier and motor. Mechanical specifications for 115/230 Volts AC rated S300 series drives include approximate weight of 2.6 kilograms, 70 millimeters width, 171 millimeters depth and 270- or 279-millimeters height (height varies with the drive type). The drive depth increases to greater than 200 millimeters with connectors. Mechanical specifications for 400/480 Volts AC rated S300 series drives include approximate weight of 2.7 kilograms, 70 millimeters width, 171 millimeters depth and 270- or 279-millimeters height (height varies with the drive type). The drive depth increases with connectors but does not exceed 230 millimeters.
