Product Description:
The Kollmorgen CF-SS-CHGE-03 is a feedback cable. Specifically, it is a commutating encoder feedback cable which has a length of 3 meters. The cable has Euro IP 65 connector to 15 pin sub-D connector at S300 drive (X1). The Kollmorgen S300 series drives are flexible drives which support both 230 Volts AC and 460 Volts AC systems. The 115/230 Volt AC rated S300 drives have a continuous current rating ranging from 3 to 10 Amps rms. The 230/400/460 Volts AC rated S300 drives have a continuous current rating of 1.5 to 6 Amps rms. Control modes supported by S300 drives are positional, simple registration, pulse follower, electronic gearing, velocity-analog, and torque-analog. Key attributes of S300 drives include integrated design, internal regeneration, and flexibility. The S300 drives support multiple network interfaces including CANopen, EtherCAT, SERCOS, DeviceNet and Profibus DP.
The broad range of connectivity options available on S300 drives allow for drive use in a wide range of control architectures. Feedback options supported by S300 systems include resolver, camcorder, and sine-encoder. S300 drives are setup through the Intuitive software which runs on a PC connected to the drive through a RS-232 serial connection. S300 drives are certified by CE, UL and cUL. The drives include filters for CE cables measuring less than 25 meters. DC bus on the drives can be connected in parallel for regenerative advantages. Analog I/O available on the S300 drives include 2 inputs through X3 screw-terminal. Digital I/O available on the drives include 4 inputs (PLC compatible) and 2 outputs (open collector). To prevent equipment damage and injury to personnel, the CF-SS-CHGE-03 cable should be installed by trained personnel. Maintenance of the S300 drives should also only be carried out by trained personnel.
