The B-404-C-21-034 comes with rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnets and an exceptional thermal design that allows it to provide acceleration capabilities and high continuous torque performance. The motor can be used in conjunction with SERVOSTAR digital amplifier to provide an easy to set up a high performance motion control system. As part of the B series, it is a low inertia motor ideal for applications that require high acceleration and deceleration.

The B-404-C-21-034 comes in a brushless design that eliminates the need for maintenance. It comprises a frameless resolver and industrial-grade connectors. Some of its basic features include a maximum speed f up to 7500RPM, insulation classification of class H, rare shaft extension, IP 65 protection category, and it is UL recognized. To extend its functionality, numerous options include encoder feedback, mating connectors, NEMA mountings, fail-safe brake, and an IP 67 sealing. The Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR amplifier used in conjunction with the motor enables easy installation and system set-up.
