The B-202-B-21 is a servo motor under the Goldline series manufactured by Kollmorgen. Motors under this series provide optimal performance under a wide array of servomotor applications. It comes with rare earth neodymium iron-boron magnets that provide unmatched torque performance. The stellar thermal design provides optimal performance and acceleration in a compact package. It features interior permanent magnets that eliminate problems with magnets placed at the airgap while allowing a low inertia design. When used together with a SERVOSATR servo amplifier the system provides high performance making an industry standard.

The B-202-B-21 is a lightweight, brushless, and low inertia motor which allows high performance in applications that require high acceleration and deceleration. It features a class H insulation, rugged resolver feedback, rear shaft extension, and is UL recognized among other stellar features. Some of the options that improve the B-202-B-21 performance include fail-safe break, NEMA mountings, and mating connectors, among others. It features a horsepower of 1.3HP, 1.0kW kilowatts, and a 3800rpm rated speed. It comes with 4 poles, 5.45lb-ft peak torque and 9.6Amps RMS peak line current. The B-202-B-21 comes with a motor frame of 20mm, B winding type, and Bayonet connectors.

Setting up the servo system is done through the MOTIONLINK software that enables quick setup for both novice and professionals. The process involves five steps namely set SERVOSTAR for power source, set it for the motor, selecting operational mode, tuning digital amplifier for the load, and storing SERVOSTAR settings. It comes with additional features such as monitor mode and selectable tuning algorithms that enable seamless monitoring of the system. The digital amplifier used with the B-202-B-21 should be brought to operation under ambient temperature of 0 to 45 degrees and humidity between 10 and 90%.
