The B-202-B-21 is a brushless servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the Kollmorgen Goldline B and BH Motors series. In automation cells, it converts drive current into precisely metered mechanical power so that indexing tables, pick-and-place heads, or small gantry axes can follow programmed motion profiles without positional error. The metric mounting flange, IP65 shaft seals, and a rear-shaft extension support direct coupling to gearboxes or load wheels on the factory floor.

The motor holds loads at zero speed with a continuous stall torque of 2.44 N·m, and it sustains that torque while drawing only 3.0 A RMS. During normal rotation, it reaches a rated speed of 3800 rpm; at this point, the 49.0 VRMS/kRPM back electromotive force balances the applied voltage and limits further acceleration. A phase inductance of 68.0 mH works with the 6.98 Ω DC resistance to smooth current transients from the inverter and moderate winding temperature rise. The bayonet power and feedback connector, supplied without mating plugs, simplifies cabinet wiring, and the 0.81 N·m/A torque sensitivity links commanded phase current to output torque for straightforward drive tuning.

For rapid indexing moves, the motor delivers a peak torque of 7.38 N·m while accepting up to 9.6 A RMS; these limits set the short-term load envelope before thermal trip points are reached. Mechanical output reaches a rated power of 1.0 kW, constrained by the 250 VRMS maximum line voltage available to the windings. A frameless resolver provides rotor angle feedback to the drive, and the 0.0000996 kg·m² rotor inertia supports fast acceleration with minimal overshoot. Metric-pattern face bolts, the IP65 mounting and seal configuration, and a shipping mass of 4.1 kg facilitate installation in enclosed or washdown-rated machinery.
