The B-604-BA-91-TR12-008 servo motor is used for highly accurate control of position, speed, and torque in industrial machines. Coming from the GOLDLINE series of servo motors, this model has an 84.8 A peak current and can produce a 7.7 kW power. The B-604-BA-91-TR12-008 comes with additional safety features like static parking and emergency braking. The motor’s electromagnetic fail safe brake has a 48 Nm holding torque. The motor has been designed with compact dimensions for easy installation. Despite compact dimensions, the servo motor can maintain a high torque to volume ratio and produce a significantly high torque output for its size range. With a continuous torque of 30.1 Nm, this motor can reach a maximum speed of 3150 rpm.
Because of an IP 65 degree protection standard, the motor can function safely in aggressive industrial conditions. The motor’s outer casing prevents the incursion of oils, water sprays, dust particles, and non-corrosive materials. A special sealing has been designed for this model. If used, the motor’s protection standard is upgraded to IP 67. This enables the B-604-BA-91-TR12-008 to function inside water under a 5 psi water pressure. This servo motor is also equipped with a direct-coupled brushless resolver. The motor’s closed-loop feedback mechanism is assisted by the resolver that results in a highly sensitive, real-time control over the position and speed. This model can be equipped with mating connectors and front-mounted gearheads. For low-speed motion control, a DC tachometer is provided that has a 0,6% average to peak voltage ripple.
