The Goldline Motor series by Kollmorgen has been designed to give optimum performance. They can be used in a wide variety of applications. The Goldline series features neodymium-iron boron material. It is a rare-earth magnet that delivers high energy. Coupled with the rare-earth magnet material, the thermal design of the motors promises to offer exceptional speed and continuous torque. The Goldline motors serve best when combined with SERVOSTAR certified digital amplifiers. The series is divided into three sub-groups. The B series offers low-inertia motors. The M series features medium inertia motors, while EB series offers explosion-proof models.
The part number B-104-B-21 is a new addition in the family of Goldline series. It has a frame size of 133.7 mm. The servo motor offers extremely low inertia rotors, which is suitable for applications that require rapid acceleration and deceleration. Like other B series models, the B-104-B-21 servo motor features a rugged feedback resolver that delivers up to 3000 pulse per revolution. The frameless resolver ensures unstoppable performance under high shock and vibration. And it can withstand up to 200 degrees Celsius. To counter the internal heat, the B-104-B-21 Goldline motor features a built-in thermostat. To add, the H-class winding ensures sufficient insulation.
The brushless motor model runs on a rated nominal voltage of 230V. The B-104-B-21 brushless servo motor offers 1.5 HP of rated power and can reach a top speed of 7500 RPM. The motor offers a continuous torque of 1.57 Nm and a maximum torque of 4.45 Nm. The B-104-B-21 brushless motor has an IP65 sealing. The brushless feature makes this motor absolutely maintenance-free. All the motor components are UL recognized.
