Kollmorgen’s Goldline series motor have transformed the applications rerun on the factory floor. With standard and con-engineered modifications, the Goldline family houses motors for use in a wide array of industrial applications. For excellent power and torque density, Goldline series motors employ rare earth neodymium boron permanent magnets. Goldline motors are available in either low inertia or medium inertia series for use in a wide range of application on the factory floor. With a design focusing on saving space and improving performance, Goldline motors can comfortably fit in small industrial spaces without compromising on performance and reliability.
The B-102-A-34 is a Kollmorgen Goldline series motor with a resolver for feedback. The motor belongs to the Kollmorgen Goldline B series that houses motors with low inertia. Note that low inertia motors are ideal when the controlling drive has lower continuous current rating and when an improved throughput of the entire machine is required. The B-102-A-34 is best suited for applications requiring a speed of up to 7500 revolutions per minute, a continuous torque rating of 0.84 N-m and a continuous power rating of 0.73 Horsepower. For optimal performance, the motor contains a thermostat inside its frame to monitor and help regulate the temperature inside the frame. Note that maintaining the motor’s operating temperature within the required range leads to an optimized performance.
To bring out the best of B-102-A-34, the Kollmorgen Servostar digital amplifier is designed to enhance the motor’s performance using a patented torque angle control, fully digital control loops, and an advanced sinewave commutation technology for precise and smooth low-speed control. The B-102-A-34 has an ingress protection rating of IP 65 and is UL recognized.
