B-102-A-14 is part of the Goldline series of Kollmorgen motors. It offers ideal solutions for servomotor applications. This type features interior permanent magnets that provide high power density and torque needed for most tasks. The magnets also mitigate problems associated with magnets placed on the airgap. This design allows for low inertia making this motor an industrial standard for point-to-point move applications. The B-102-A-14 can be combined with a SERVOSTAR digital amplifier providing a system that has much-needed speed and torque. It is UL recognized.
The B-102-A-14 is among the Goldline motors that have the lowest inertia. This enables it to provide unparalleled performance in applications that require rapid acceleration as well as deceleration. It comes with a class H insulation, rear shaft extension, a maximum operating speed of 7500rpm, and a compact design. You can add options such as NEMA mountings, mating connectors, encoder feedback, and fail-safe brake which significantly improve its performance. It features a weight of 2.5kg, thermal time constant of 10min, and comes with 4 poles. The peak torque is capped at 2.41N-m while the peak line current is 7.2A RMS. Other parameters include a horsepower of 0.73HP, 0.54kW, and 7500rpm speed at rated power.
The B-102-A-14 encoder option ensures that you can perform direct coupling to a standard housed encoder while the fail-safe brake provides torque for emergency and static parking braking. It features a metric mount that comes with IP65 sealing and unterminated 457mm flying lead. Other features include a winding type of A, 10mm motor frame, and comes in a brushless design. When used together with a gearhead, its operating lifespan is improved significantly while providing economical solutions for tasks.
