Internal Product Review
The TT-4239-1010-CA is a Kollmorgen Inland Direct Drive motor with face mounting and a standard shaft with keyway. Continuous torque of 30.1 Nm and peak torque of 89.8 Nm give the motor strong low-speed authority and excellent overload performance. A 3100 W power rating and 1400 rpm max speed make this motor a very capable choice for demanding direct-drive motion systems.

Product Description:
The TT-4239-1010-CA is a direct-drive rotary motor produced by Kollmorgen for the Inland Direct Drive Motors series. As a frameless torque motor, it mounts directly to a machine load without requiring a separate motor frame. This arrangement eliminates belts and gearboxes while providing precise low-speed motion for indexing tables, winding stations, and semiconductor tooling.
The motor can deliver continuous shaft torque of 30.1 Nm while drawing a steady phase current of 33.0 A, supporting sustained operation without exceeding its thermal limit. With a torque constant of 0.915 Nm/A, applied current produces a proportional amount of torque for predictable current-loop control. The back electromotive force reaches 95.8 V/krpm, so the controller must tolerate the generated voltage during regenerative operation. A phase inductance of 1.11 mH affects current rise time and PWM carrier selection. The direct-current resistance is 0.188 ohm, which contributes to copper loss during operation. Tachometer sensitivity is 18.9 V/krpm, and tachometer ripple is limited to 2% for consistent optional speed feedback. Face-mounting holes locate the stator on the chassis, while pipe-threaded flying leads route power through sealed conduit entries.
For short bursts, the rotor can produce 89.8 Nm when the drive supplies up to 120 A in peak mode. This capacity supports acceleration and shock loads before thermal limits intervene. Rotor speed is limited to 1400 rpm for direct-coupled operation. The electrical insulation permits a maximum terminal voltage of 140 V, and the continuous output rating is 3100 W. A keyed shaft provides positive torque transfer, and its standard profile fits common couplings. Power and feedback conductors exit through the same lead set to keep cable routing compact. The face-mount pilot centers the stator concentrically with the load flange, supporting accurate alignment during installation.
