The Kollmorgen HSM490 Servo Motor is built to meet IP65 standards when used with environmentally sealed Military Specification (MS) cable assemblies and shaft seals. It provides effective protection against dust and water jets that is suitable for demanding environments.

The HSM490 servo motor operates with power leads R, S, and T. It features a dielectric rating of 1500 VACrms at 50/60 Hz for one minute. The torque requires for its connectors ranges from 80 – 85 lb-in. This motor brake connectors follow MIL-SPEC standards with a designated part number of MS-3102R12S-3P.
