Product Description:
The Kollmorgen DSA 175-230-S is a servo drive. If the drive is not used for a period of time, it should be stored in a clean and dry location where the ambient temperature is maintained between -40 to 70 degrees Celsius and where the non-condensing relative humidity range is between 5 to 95%. The drive should not be exposed to a corrosive atmosphere during storage. The DSA 175-230-S drive must be enclosed in grounded conductive enclosure offering protection as defined in standard EN 60529 to IP 55 such that they are not accessible to an operator or an unskilled person. The ambient temperature at the location where the drive is installed should not exceed 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The DSA 175-230-S should be mounted on a flat and vertical surface that will not be subjected to shock, moisture, dust or corrosive vapors.
A minimum of 2 inches of spacing should be provided above and below the mounted DSA 175-230-S drive. A minimum 5 inches of spacing should be provided to the left and right sides of the drive. Isolation transformers are not required to be used but may be required to match the voltage requirements of the control to the AC supply. The DSA 175-230-S is a rated for single-phase 100 to 240 Volts AC input. The rated nominal and inrush current values are 30 Amps and 50 Amps respectively. The continuous output current value is 35 Amps. The continuous output power ratings are 3.75 kilowatts at 115 Volts AC and 7.5 kilowatts at 230 Volts AC.
