The DSA digital servo drives form multi-functional universal drives designed for multiple applications across various industries. They are manufactured by Kollmorgen and can be configured in several ways to suit a wide range of purposes. The DSA 007-230-S is a versatile, standard-sized drive in the DSA series. It weighs 1.8 kgs and has a maximum loss of 48 Watts. In addition, it has an I/O response time of 100 microseconds. This unit is designed to drive brushless motors with sinusoidal AC control and can be commissioned remotely using the DSAPro desktop software. It utilizes a single-phase AC input voltage between 100 V and 240 V. Its AC input frequency range is 47 Hz to 63 Hz, and its peak output current is 7.5 A. Additionally, its continuous output current is 2.5 A.
The design of the DSA 007-230-S accommodates seamless cable exchange between drive packages in the DSA family. At 115 Volts AC input, it has an energy absoprtion capability of 125 Joules, and at an AC input of 230 Volt, the energy absorption drops to 51 Joules. The continuous power output of the digital servo drives at 115 Volts AC input is 0.25 kW, while it is 0.5 kW at 230 Volts.
