The DSA 007-230 is a reliable servo drive platform that has been designed for advanced motion control tasks. This drive system relies on the DSAPro interface that is Windows based. This model also comes with a highly precise position control capability that enables high quality single-axis position control. The internal memory in this model is capable of storing up to 64 index moves. The DSA 007-230 is considered a universal drive system and has the ability to act as a variable speed drive, stepper drive replacement, and an analog input velocity servo. The drive system can be integrated with a wide variety of motors. The DSAPro allows seamless integration of the required motor system with the drive. The users just have to select the required motor from the system which then automatically configures itself as an AC brushless servo drive.
The DSA 007-230 provides superior low speed performance in the most demanding applications. This is possible because of the single and multiturn encoders that are used in conjunction with the drive system. This universal drive system has the ability to drive brushless motors with a simple set-up. This model also has the ability to configure a variety of command sources that include step and direction, analog velocity input, master encoder follower, and digital serial commands. This model has high frequency and high resolution encoder input capability. The device has a velocity loop bandwidth of up to 400 Hz. The drive system comes with a personality module that is non-volatile and can store all tuning and setup parameters.
