The DS110 is a universal drive system produced by the company. This high performance drive is rich in features and can be flexibly used for a wide range of applications. This model is considered a universal drive because of its ability to function as a variable speed drive, an analog input velocity servo, stepper drive replacement, and a master encoder follower with complete electronic gearing. This model uses the DSAPro interface that is Windows based. This improves the productivity of the drive system with the help of a powerful diagnostic tool and configuration system. When using this drive system. The life cycle costs are significantly reduced because of functionality, common cabling, and user friendly interface. This drive system allows users to optimize the motor/drive system as per the application at hand. This is because the DS110 can flexibly operate with a wide range of motors.
The DS110 can be easily configured for a wide variety of command sources including digital serial commands, step and direction, master encoder following, analog velocity input, pre-set positions, velocities, and torques. This device can drive brushless motors with a simple set-up. The drive system is easy to maintain and easy to set-up. This Windows based DSAPro software is equipped with a complete set of diagnostics and troubleshooting options. The device contains a non-volatile personality module in which all setup and tuning parameters can be safely stored. The drive system also excels in speed control because of advanced speed control algorithms. The system's velocity loop bandwidth is up to 400 Hz and it comes with a high resolution encoder input capability.
