The module’s control and ballast sections are integrated to save panel space, making it suitable for pick-and-place gantries, feeders, and compact handling stations that demand tight dynamic control.

The amplifier is sized for a rated connected load of 1.7 kVA and delivers a continuous output of 2.8 Arms while supporting bursts up to 5.6 Arms for acceleration events. A current-loop bandwidth of 1 kHz works with an output stage clock of 8.33 kHz to keep torque ripple low even when the motor inductance is only 15 mH. Internally, the DC link is held at 560 VDC, sourced from the rectifier and stabilized by 20 kΩ of input resistance. The loop senses brake demand and can source 1 A to an electromechanical brake. Setpoint conversion accuracy is maintained by a 14-bit converter, while a residual voltage drop of 5 V across the output stage keeps motor back EMF from saturating the control loop.
