The DH081M-12-1310 is a frameless rotary motor produced by Kollmorgen within the DDR Direct Drive Motors series. As a torque-dense stage, the unit mounts directly to load elements, eliminating gearboxes in precision indexing tables, semiconductor tools, and automated inspection stations. Its frameless format lets the rotor and stator integrate into the machine structure, which helps reduce drivetrain compliance in direct-drive systems. Its electromagnetic core is paired with a sine encoder so that closed-loop control platforms can command smooth, low-cogging motion from rest to top speed.

At 40 °C, the motor can sustain a continuous output of 15.9 N·m, enough to drive moderate-inertia payloads without overheating. When short bursts are required, it delivers up to 45.0 N·m of peak torque, giving a threefold overload margin for acceleration or disturbance rejection. The magnetic stack is optimized for a rated ceiling of 500 rpm, which balances torque density with manageable back EMF at a 400/480 VAC supply. Position data are returned by a feedback device with 134,217,728 counts/rev, enabling very fine commutation and fast servo loop updates. With a straight connector, power and feedback cables exit radially to simplify routing inside compact enclosures.
