The D101M-22-1310 is a direct-drive rotary motor built by Kollmorgen within the DDR Direct Drive Motors series. In automation systems, the unit replaces gearboxes by producing high torque at low speed, allowing indexers, printing tables, and semiconductor stages to position loads with minimal mechanical compliance. Flange mounting and a through-bore shaft permit utilities to pass through the axis while keeping the footprint compact.
At 40 °C, the motor can supply a continuous output of 34.6 Nm, a base value used to size the drive amplifier for steady-state duty. During rapid indexing, it withstands a peak torque of 129 Nm, enabling short bursts of high acceleration without thermal overload. Speed is electronically limited to 300 rpm, so the direct coupling maintains accuracy without an intermediate reducer.
