The motor is under the D series product category featuring a 115/230VAC winding type. It also comes with an 8.80” O.D. frame size, a mid-stack length, and M winding type. The winding type allows the use of a sine encoder feedback device.
The D082M-13-1310 has a straight thru bore w/face coupling shaft option, single bearing design, but lacks a unit seal. Like other housed DDR motors, it produces a high torque density of up to 92.2Nm and a 25.9Nm continuous torque. Its mechanical features include a maximum weight of 21.5 kg, 0.0194 kg-m2 rotor inertia, and a 3,360 kg maximum dynamic axel compression load. The high torque density is facilitated by the high number of magnet poles, large diameter, and its short length. And unlike mechanical indexers, this Kollmorgen indexer does to loss its high torque capabilities as it ages.
