It integrates the rotor and stator directly onto the machine structure, eliminating belts or gearboxes and delivering precise servo motion for indexing tables, electronic cams, and pick-and-place axes in factory automation. Continuous low-speed torque, low cogging, and direct mechanical coupling allow tight position control with minimal maintenance. A sine encoder is provided so the drive receives absolute position feedback for deterministic and repeatable machine cycles.

Mechanical integration starts with a single bearing arrangement that supports axial and radial loads while keeping runout low. A straight power and feedback connector simplifies cable routing. At a stator temperature of 40 °C, the rotor can deliver 9.8 N-m of continuous torque, enough to hold or move medium-sized fixtures without additional gearing. Structural stiffness is aided by a hub that withstands 2,040 kg of dynamic axial compression, so end-effectors can be mounted directly without intermediate couplings. Windings are suited to 115/230 VAC supplies, allowing the same frame to pair with single-phase or three-phase drives worldwide.
