Product Description

Kollmorgen’s latest range of CT Series Step Motors make use of patented enhancing technology which aids the process of increased efficiency and provides higher torque at all speeds of operation. Outstanding performance is only one of the benefits of Kollmorgen’s CT motors, as they are available in a wide range of sizes, lengths, windings and shafts. All of Kollmorgen’s CT motors are able to utilize high torque magnetic designs featuring a large rotor diameter, minimal air gap, high energy rotor magnets and simplistic yet computer-operated windings.

This leads to the strategic development of motors that are low on energy usage, system costs, are more compact, and enable faster machine operation. Kollmorgen’s motors can also be supplied with a range of electrical modifications, such as lead lengths, electrical conductors and special windings. The CTM and CTP Series of motors by Kollmorgen effectively provides patented enhancing magnet technology in the stator which works to provide 25% more torque at all speeds of operation. This increased power output is a direct result of higher efficiency, allowing the use of much smaller drives and power supplies to accompany the CTP motor.

Kollmorgen’s CTP10ELF06MAA00 is part of the Cool Torque Performance (CTP) series of motors and is characterized by a frame size of 17 or 4.2 cm. The CTP10ELF06MAA00 motor has a short stack length, making it compact in size and more suitable for smaller factories that employ motion control solutions. Kollmorgen’s CTP10ELF06MAA00 motor has a mounting of English tapped holes with a connection style of lead wiring. There are four connections available on the CTP10ELF06MAA00 motor, making it useful for a wide range of applications. Kollmorgen’s CTP10ELF06MAA00 motor has a bipolar winding current of 0.6 Amps and a metric front shaft option which is exclusive for the size 17 CTP motors only. Being a standard model motor manufactured by Kollmorgen, the CTP10ELF06MAA00 has no rear options and is not customized to any extent.
