This two-phase device converts discrete drive pulses into incremental shaft motion, enabling precise index positioning in packaging equipment, pick-and-place gantries, and other automation axes that require open-loop accuracy. With a frame size of NEMA 34, the motor conforms to a 3.4-inch square mounting footprint that aligns with standard reducers and brackets.
Each electrical revolution is partitioned into 200 full steps, which corresponds to a fundamental 1.8° step angle. Position repeatability is maintained within ±1.5% of one full step, so axis errors remain predictable over long indexes. The motor has eight leads that provide flexible series, parallel, and half-coil wiring options for current adjustment. Mechanical attachment is handled through 0.218-inch mounting holes arranged around a 2.875-inch pilot, ensuring concentric alignment between the motor and load.
