Kollmorgen has designed the CT Series with distinctive features from all other step motors in the market. The CTM31NLF99KAA00 operates at cooler temperatures, produces higher torque, and supports higher shaft loads. CTM Series motors integrate patented enhancing magnets in the stator to offer an additional 25% torque at any speed. The improved power output originates from higher efficiency, which enables the use of smaller power supplies and drives. The CTM31NLF99KAA00 is integrated with distinctive features that offer various benefits.
The CT Series Step Motor is integrated with high torque magnetic designs that come with a small air gap, big rotor diameter, rotor magnets of high energy along with windings that are computer-controlled. This offers the highest torque in the smallest package. Some of the benefits include lower energy use, reduced system cost, as well as faster, more compact machines. The CTM31NLF99KAA00 also features a cooling shell made of aluminum. The motor has aluminum ends to rapidly remove heat when mounted, which allows for higher torque ratings and current ratings
