In machine tools, pick-and-place heads, and small gantries, this motor receives pulse commands from the drive and converts them into precise rotary steps for open-loop positioning. Its step-based operation is well suited to indexing tasks that rely on repeatable incremental movement.
The windings are rated for a bipolar current of 9.9 A, allowing momentary acceleration without thermal overstress during normal use.
