The CTM22NLS12NAA00 is a two-phase stepper motor manufactured by Kollmorgen and supplied in the CT Stepper Motors series, also known as the Cool Torque Maximum product line. Within an automation cell, it converts pulse trains from an indexer or PLC into discrete rotary motion, providing repeatable positioning without the need for an external feedback device. The motor is built on a 2-stack magnetic assembly to raise output torque and follows the Enhanced Series approach of combining high torque with good thermal efficiency for continuous industrial duty.
An electrical step of 1.8° gives the rotor 200 full steps per revolution, establishing basic resolution before microstepping.
