The CKM04A-AKMN2-00 is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the CKM Servo Motors series. It converts electrical energy into tightly regulated rotary motion, giving machine builders a compact drive source for positioning tables, small gantries, and indexing mechanisms in automated cells. Its role in industrial automation is to supply repeatable torque and speed so that downstream axes follow programmed trajectories without mechanical drift.

During continuous duty the motor delivers 0.4 kW of mechanical power at a rated speed of 3000 rpm. This operating point corresponds to a steady-state torque of 1.274 Nm while drawing a phase current of 2.5 A. The copper windings present 5.38 Ω of armature resistance and 20.8 mH of armature inductance, values that shape current rise time and influence servo bandwidth.
