The AKMH64L-ACKNCA1K is a Kollmorgen motor design with unprecedented flexibility and durability levels. This motor requires connection to the AKD drive controller unit, which is also produced by Kollmorgen. This motor is perfectly compatible with machines with high dynamic requirements. The direct connection of this motor to a mains power supply is prohibited; it should be connected to the drive controller, which is connected to the mains supply.
The AKMH64L-ACKNCA1K motor unit is a permanent magnet device that uses rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnets. This unique choice of magnetic material makes it possible to drive the motor in a highly dynamic fashion.
