The AKMH63M-ACKNCA1K servo motor is produced by Kollmorgen within the AKMH Stainless Servomotors series. It is a hygienic stainless steel washdown motor that uses a 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housing to tolerate caustic cleaning solutions. Its AKMH6 frame and IEC flange mounting allow direct integration into machinery without adapters. A pre-assembled cable for AKD drives is supplied in a 1-meter length to simplify installation in compact cabinets, and its surface roughness is kept below 0.8 µm to help minimize residue buildup during washdown cleaning.

Electrically, the motor develops a standstill torque of 14.2 N-m while drawing a standstill current of 12.6 A. These values indicate the continuous holding load and the thermal baseline used for drive sizing. A torque constant of 1.15 N-m/A links output torque directly to phase current, and the winding inductance of 4.9 mH influences current ripple and servo bandwidth. Peak demands can be met with up to 46.0 N-m of torque when the controller supplies a peak current of 41.4 A. A pilot diameter of 130 mm centers the housing, while the 32 mm closed-keyway shaft follows DIN 748 and DIN 6885 T1 and uses a shaft seal rated to the same ingress level as the enclosure.
