Product Description:

The AKMH63M-ACKNCA1K is a widely popular servo motor design from Kollmorgen Automation. Designed to supply a high-power density, this servo motor unit has found relevance across various industries and has been authorized for use all over the world. As a permanent magnet device, it features low-distortion, and low-cogging magnets that allow it to maintain smooth performance. The unit is built to be operated specifically with drives belonging to the AKD series; this combination helps it to produce up to 47 per cent more shaft power than conventional motor series. Compatible drive controller units are able to automatically recognize the motor as soon as it is plugged in, which reduces the time it takes it set it up and makes it easier to use.

The AKMH63M-ACKNCA1K transmits torque through an output shaft with keyway, the keyway aids smooth transmission by preventing relative movement between the motor and the machine components. There is no holding brake in this industrial motor; however, its has a smart single-turn feedback device with a 24 bit resolution and an accuracy of about 15 arcs per minute. To prevent the risk of overheating the windings of this motor are integrated with a thermal sensor which detects high temperature risks and signals for the controller unit to initiate an immediate shutdown of the motor.

The cables that connect the AKMH63M-ACKNCA1K motor with the AKD drive is not included with the delivery package of the motor; these cables are, however, ready-made to be ordered by customers that require them. The maximum possible operation speed for the motor is 6000 revolutions per minute, this motor will also produce a peak torque of 43 newton meters and consume a maximum input current of 41.4 amperes
