The AKMH62M-ACKNCA1K is a hygienic stainless-steel washdown motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the AKMH Stainless Servomotors series. As a servo element, it delivers closed-loop torque for pick-and-place units, indexing fillers, and other automation stages. Its hygienic design supports high-pressure sanitation while meeting food-grade guidelines in processing equipment where regular washdown is required.

Electrically, the unit produces a continuous stall torque of 10.3 N·m at a continuous stall current of 12.5 Arms, and this pairing indicates the sustainable load during constant duty. Short bursts are handled by a peak torque of 33.1 N·m and a peak current of 40.2 A, allowing rapid acceleration without demagnetization. A torque constant of 0.84 N·m/A links commanded current to generated torque, while a voltage constant of 58.8 mV/min, a winding resistance of 0.587 Ω, and a winding inductance of 4.40 mH support drive tuning. The SFD3 smart feedback encoder supports deterministic positioning during repeated indexing motions, and the rotor’s 0.00169 kg·m² inertia together with rotor length 2 balances response with load matching. Thermal saturation is delayed by a 58-minute time constant, and the AKMH6 frame size with a preassembled AKD cable simplifies wiring.
