As a hygienic stainless steel washdown motor, it is built from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel with a smooth surface roughness below 0.8 µm, so it endures high-pressure cleaning in food and pharmaceutical lines. The housing, shaft seal, and overall construction meet IP69K, so the unit can be mounted directly on machinery without a separate enclosure and provide rotary motion where frequent sanitation is required.

For continuous duty, the motor delivers 5.41 Nm of stall torque while drawing 2.70 Arms from the drive. The electromagnetic system has a torque constant of 2.04 Nm/Arms and a back EMF of 131.6 Vrms/kRPM, values that help the AKD drive estimate speed from the embedded Smart Feedback Device encoder with 11-bit resolution.
