The AKMH42H-ACKNCA1K belongs to the AKMH Stainless Servomotors series from Kollmorgen and is a hygienic stainless-steel washdown motor for automation zones that require frequent high-pressure cleaning. It connects directly to an AKD drive through a pre-assembled cable and mounts by an IEC flange for straightforward installation on equipment frames. The housing is machined from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel, the shaft uses a closed keyway that follows DIN 748 and DIN 6885 T1, and an FDA-approved O-ring seals the flange. A surface roughness below 0.8 µm supports use on sanitary conveyor, filling, and packaging lines.

Under continuous duty at 100 °C, the rotor can deliver 3.15 Nm while drawing 5.64 Arms, and this steady-state capability indicates the mechanical output available for sustained motion tasks. A torque constant of 0.57 Nm/Arms links commanded current to produced torque, which helps with current-loop tuning in the AKD controller. The stator winding inductance is 6.00 mH, and the phase-to-phase resistance is 1.67 ohms; these electrical values affect the motor’s time constants and inverter switching behavior. The motor also has a 114 mm flange diameter, a 100 mm bolt circle, and an 80 mm pilot for accurate centering.
