The AKMH32E-ACKNCA1K is a hygienic stainless steel washdown motor produced by Kollmorgen as part of the AKMH Stainless Servomotors series. Intended for sanitary filling, packaging, and dosing stations, the unit delivers closed-loop rotary power while allowing high-pressure cleaning directly on its surface. Its stainless housing, food-grade seals, and flange-mount format eliminate the need for protective enclosures in demanding automation zones and wet processing areas.

Electrically, the motor delivers a continuous stall torque of 1.69 N-m at a phase current of 2.49 Arms, and it can withstand up to 11.3 Arms during transient events where torque peaks are required. The windings follow type E construction and present 6.34 Ω of resistance at 25 °C with a 12.8 mH phase inductance. This combination gives a torque constant of 0.694 N-m/Arms and a back EMF of 47.1 Vrms/kRPM for drive matching. An 8-pole rotor is monitored by a Smart Feedback Device (SFD3) encoder that offers 11-bit resolution, allowing direct digital commutation through the pre-assembled AKD-rated cable.
