Kollmorgen manufactures the AKMH23E-ACKNCA1K in its AKMH Stainless Servomotors series for motion tasks that demand hygienic, high-pressure washdown capability. The motor is a hygienic stainless steel washdown unit and mounts to IEC flanges through a 79 mm face and 40 mm pilot. Frame size AKMH2 keeps the package compact, while a Smart Feedback Device encoder supplies 11-bit resolution for velocity and position loops. A 1.4404 (316L) housing, an FDA-approved O-ring seal, and a washdown-rated shaft seal permit direct placement in food or pharmaceutical environments without secondary enclosures.

At 240 Vac, the motor delivers a continuous stall torque of 0.9 N·m while drawing 2.39 Arms. At a rated speed of 6500 rpm, it outputs 449.24 W. Short bursts raise output to a peak of 4.43 N·m with 11.1 Arms, and maximum mechanical speed reaches 8000 rpm. The enclosure has a protection rating of IP69K, allowing operation during caustic wash cycles.
